SAE Aero Design - Advancing the Advanced Class Through Autonomy
Advanced class is focused on mission success through understanding of diverse requirements, system-level engineering, & robust execution. Teams must design a system to support the fight against wildfires through the delivery of water & parts for a GTV.
2021 SIIA CODiE Award Winner & EdTech Award Finalist
SAE’s AWIM PreK-8 STEM education program was named “Best Foundational Technology/ Engineering (STEM) Instructional Solution” 2021 as part of the annual SIIA CODiE Awards and a 2021 EdTech Awards Cool Tools finalist for “Best Skills Solution."
STEM Sagas: Virtually Rerouted Interactive Comic Book
In 2021 AWIM launched an interactive comic book for students in grades 4-8. This educator resources helps teachers facilitate thoughtful discussions about diversity, equity & inclusion while introducing computer science concepts in a fun and engaging way.
